Hans may have died in a Mankato hospital in Blue Earth County or in Rochester, Olmsted County. Most Waseca Residents at that time went to hospitals out of the County.

Probate files contain addresses of all heirs at that time.

Waseca County Historical Society, P.o. Box 314, Waseca, MN 56093-0314, will make copies of b, m, d certificates from its files of Waseca County records for $2.00 each. For certified copies you have to write to the County and the cost is $11.00 each, last I heard.

In Plat map of Waseca County, 1896, Hans PAULSON owned 233.95 acres in St. Mary Twp, 2 miles west of Waseca; the SW qrtr and the S 1/2 of the NW qrtr, Section 11.
