Hello Tom! Did you ever find your Schiller roots? Your Rosalie Schiller sounds very much like the sister of my g-grandmother Anna Schiller Pomykal. In the 1880 Census these two girls are found in the household of Franz (b.1843)and Rosalie Schiller in the Schoenau community of Austin TX, along with Francis, Franz, Emilie and Terezie. The only other Shillers I find in this area at that time are 57-year-old Josef Schiller and 38-year-old wife Anna and five TX-born children. Family tradition has it that my ggrandmother Anna and her parents immigrated at the same time as did the Pomykals in 1872 (she would have been 4), and that she and her future husband George Pomykal were on the same boat that landed on the coast. I would love to have more information on these Schillers if you have any.
