I am searching for Bartholomeus CROONENBROCK. He is born 13.07.1862 and left Germany in 1893 together with Arnold Joseph KAETS, a relative from the same little village named Pont near Geldern/Germany. From Antwerp in Belgia they departured on Steamship "Switzerland" and arrived Philadelphia. In Census Minnesota 1895 they are listed in Stoneham, Chippewa County, Minnesota. Battel Croonenbrouk worked as a farmer together with his friend Kaets.
Kaets lived in California. He married and died in 1943. Until 1936 several times he visited his german family.
I cannot find Bartholomäus. One reason may be that the spelling of his name differs: Bartel Battel Bart Barthel and Croonenbroeck, Kronenbruk ...Obviously the name is very complicated. So, if there is any idea to give me information, I'd be happy. Every information about the Kaets family is welcome, too.
