You will note: that Georgia and the Indian Territories, and Mississippi Territory appear to all be one.. You find florida separate, also South Carolina and Louisiana Territory.. There is no Alabama, there is no state of Mississippi. so, one being born in Georgia in 1800 could range from the Atlantic Coast to Choctaw Territory east of the Mississippi River. There is no such thing as Alabama, not until around 1819..

John Roberts is found in what was referred to as Amite in 1815 marriage record, John Roberts and Lucinda Arnold. Second listing is within a Tax / census, below is a copy of the info, within this data are a group of young men who arrive about the same time.

William Roberts arrived in Amite, along with his wife, and listed on a 1810 census.. no children.

By 1820 John and Lucinda Arnold Roberts are divorced.
She remarries in 1820 - Cary Knapp of Kentucky, they settle in and are listed on 1830 census in Lawrence County, ms

John Roberts remarries in 1821, and he and his second wife remain in Miss.

John and Lucinda have two children:
Elizabeth born in 1816
John Roberts born around 1819.

John Sr. is listed as in attendance for his daughters wedding 1831 in Lawrence, ms

This group of Roberts belong to a family, either from Georgia, or beginnings in SC - NC very possible even
Virginia

2nd Family, Arnold.. John Arnold is the father of Lucinda Arnold, born in Georgia (???) John is listed on his daughters 2nd wedding notice as in attendance. He along with other members of an Arnold family are listed with Roberts on 1810 cenus, and the 1816 Tax / Census records.

Just like the Roberts the Arnolds belong to a specific family from either Georgia or SC - NC or even Virginia.
