In your June3,2003 posting you mentioned that Elizabeth married John Leonard Page in 1853. That would make them the right age to be the parents of Emma Page who married Wm. Daniel "Tuck" Welch in Feb. of 1875 (or '76). She died giving birth to my grandfather Harvey W. Welch in Dec. of 1876. Family legend has it that Emma was an orphan and no one has been able to trace her family history. They lived in St. Helena Parish just about 2 miles south of the Amite Co. Ms. line. Harvey was born in St. Helena Parish. The family story also indicates that Emma was raised by an Easley family after being orphaned as a young child. She was only about 18 years old when she died, which means she was born in about 1857 (or 58) and could easily be the daughter of Elizabeth and John Leonard Page. Any bit of information on Emma would be greatly appreciated. Joe Ben Welch
