Hello Alfred Ikards son Robert Ikard was married to my great grandmother Essie Nichols (1920census) my grandmother was Ethel Ikard although she was not an Ikard. Essie had 3 children when she married Robert. There is a Ikard/Fitzgerald reunion in 2012. Their daughter Irene married a Fitzgerald. My cousins who are Ikards could give you more info, several live in Cali. I did not know Papa Alfred but my mother new him and his wife she remembers the big house they lived in.
