I have discovered that my line of Arnold's lived in Claiborne County according to the 1880 Census. The family consisted of Thomas B. ARnold, age 53, wife Mary A., age 41 and their (9) children.There is a George Arnold buried in the Arnold Cemetery that could possibly be Thomas Arnold's grandfather. There is also a grave in Jefferson County of Thomas Arnold's grandson, Melvin T. Arnold. Melvin's parents are Thomas (Jr.) and Minnie Arnold. Thomas Jr., is the son of Thomas and Mary.
