I am descended from John Mason and Calderwood through Calderwood's son, Jesse, Sr., Jesse, Jr. and Malinda Jane Mason (my grandmother). Both Jesses and my grandmother are all buried in marked graves at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in southeast Greene Co. Ms.between Leakesville and Citronelle, AL. Calderwood also has two children (ages about 12 and 10) buried in the same cemetery. Both died during or right after the Civil War. One of my great grandfather Richard Roberts' sisters married Henry Brannan. They lived part of their lives in Wilmer, AL. I don't remember which sister (would have to look it up, but do have it in file), but I haven't tracked that line extensively. One of their children was Nora Mae Brannan, married Hutchins. She has an elementary school named for her in Mobile county, AL. Contact me if you would like to share info.
