I am trying to find out where the following two people are buried. They are direct decendents of my wife Margie Redmond Parmeter. Any other info would be appreciated.
George Washington Redmond
Born about 1795 Sumter Co., SC
Died: 24 Oct 1872 Harrison Co., MS
He received a 160-acre land grant due to his War of 1812 service. The land is now where the Big Biloxi River Campground is located.
He resided in Adams Co. MS in 1830, Jasper Co. MS in 1850, and Harrison Co. MS in 1860.
Married about 1828 (possibly Washington Co., AL)
Ailsey Canzada AINSWORTH b: 1810 Spartanburg Dist., SC
They were the parents of 12 children
( He was listed as buried at Blackwell Cemetery in Saucier but there is no grave marker.)

Born: ca 1775
Brother of Pushmataha who was in charge of Captain Pushmahta's Regiment of Choctaw warriors during the Creek Indian War and War of 1812. Mataha was a 2nd Lieutenant in his unit. Mataha was a scout in General George Washington's army, at that time he took the name Redman / Redmon / Redmond and named his son George Washington after the General.
