I am looking for any information about Samuel Amos Herring born 9/18/1868 and died 3/15/1916 in the streets of Isola, MS. He was shot as the story goes for being with a white woman, he is said to have been a Native American. He was married to a Minnie Dunn and she was white. They had one son for sure Donald Ishmeal Herring and possible 2 other sons. If any one from Isola or the surrounding area could look into this that would be wonderful.
