I have several Lawrence Co. photos c. 1937 of young people I assume my granddaddy, Arthur Lee Benson, was friends with. He graduated New Hebron H. S. in 1937. Names include: Johnnie Lee (Newsom?)(f), Mary Ida Newsom, Nancy Shivers, Miller, Jackdo Turnage, Juanita Little, Dewese Bumo (sp?), Nell Mullins, Marguette, Gwendline Coin, Juanita Parker, Gurtie (m), Lois Newsom, DeLance (f), Nancy, Doris Spikes, Dama Sue Sutton, Eudeora Ware, James P. Smith, Donald Staten. Sports teams:1937 Baseball Team (doesn't say which) "Arthur - Hoot - Robert - Clarence - Snooky - Jack - Henry - Berry - Coach Lyons - Laney - Pud - Tom - Speck - - Buck;" New Hebron's 1935 Football Team. Other photos are unidentified. Do these names mean anything to you? I suspect I am related to a few, and I'm curious about all of them - old girlfriends?
