Need any info on James,Sr., Silas, James,Jr. Simmons and related families. Silas and James Jr. were sons of James Sr. and Ellenor Lee of Perry Co., MS. James Sr. born 1764 not sure exactly where so this is my brick wall. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Also researching the Freeman family. Janet "Jennie" Freeman (wife of Silas Simmons) was said to have been raised by a family named Brown, some have said she was from the McCardle family and it is also believed she was a Chactaw Indian.
