I am looking for information about "Fred" Thompson and his wife Emma. I am helping his great granddaughter with her family tree and have run aground with this couple.

The ggranddaughter stated that his name was San Salvador Thompson but he went by the name of Fred. He was born about 1912, location unknown, and died in Perry County, MS in 1960. He is buried in the Cochran Private Cemetery and his headstone reads S. S. "Fred" Thompson.

Emma E (-?-), the wife, was born 27 Jun 1916 (unknown location) and died 27 Dec 1992 in Richton, Perry, MS. She is also buried in the Cochran Private Cemetery in Perry County, MS.

Their children are: John Ray Thompson, Willie Lee Thompson, Henry Thompson, Pearlie Mae Thompson Holliman, James Ray Thompson, Odis Thompson, and Milton "Mickey" Thompson.

There is a Fred Thompson Drive and an Emma Thompson Drive next to each other off highway 15 near Rhodes, Perry, MS.
