Mary Yarrell Wood was the 2nd wife of John Wright, the name of his first wife
is not known and may be the mother of some of these children.
Wright Cemetery listed as Wright/Sandidge Cemetery in the Tate County cemetery
book titled "Footprints In Time". It is located appx. 1.5 miles north of Tyro
on Tyro-Thyatira Road. It is 800' east of where this road crosses the south
line of Section 33, Township 5 South, Range 5 West
Deed from Daniel W Wright and his wife Minerva, to the heirs of John Wright
deceased names 9 legatees after he sells his share. They are Bennet W Wright,
Thomas W Wright, B Walker Wright, P H Wright, Nancy E Sandidge, Octavia
Wright and 3 Mabry children; Adliza, Polly Ann, and Carson each to receive 1/3
of one share. Dated Apr 7, 1856, DeSoto to Tate book.
LDS Church lists parents of John Wright as Daniel Wright, born 9/27/1759 in
Fauquier Co, Va, died 5/24/1838 in Madison Co, Al, married either Nancy Martin
on 1/28/1790 or Nancy Young on 6/24/1783, who was born 7/7/1762 in Lunenburg,
Va, and died 6/2/1833. Daniels parents are listed as John Wright, born
10/30/1728 Leesylvania, Prince William Co, Va, died 10/30/1789 Dobson, Surry,
NC with burial at either Flatrock Creek Cem or Elsberry Chapel. He married in
1753 Fauquier Co, Va to Ann Williams who was born 1735 in Fauquier Co and died
in October 1725 with burial there. John Wright's parents are listed as John
Wright and Elizabeth Darnell

southeast 1/4 of Section 30, T4R7. This lot was in the Old town of Coldwater
along the railroad just north of Hwy 306.
Deed April 7, 1856 - Daniel W Wright and his wife Minerva, to the heirs of John Wright
deceased names 9 legatees after he sells his share. They are Bennet W Wright,
