The Dial Mills family that lived in Tishomingo county, MS in the 1850 census lived in house #5 Northern District. He lived in the same area that my folks lived which is in the northern most part of our county (Tishomingo) which borders TN. Seeing that he was 57 in that census, it is probable that he died in this county and is buried in an unmarked grave - which we have loads of in our rural county cemeteries. This area was in the area that is still Tishomingo county. Let me suggest that you post to our Rootsweb email list for possible help from other Tishomingo county researchers.
