Have read the preceding reply, and am not sure it completely answers your question. What I always heard called Paden's Mills was located slightly northwest of the existing small town of Paden, MS, in Tishomingo County. The actual site of the mills, also called "Burnt Mills" because they were burned during the civil war, may have been taken by the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway.
