Is there anyone out there who can share information with me on any of the following families?

Mary C. Bailey, wife of George T. Bailey, was born 1831 in SC, died 1906, and was buried at Antioch Cemetery. Mary and George may have had children Caroline (b. 1850), William (1853), and John (1856). John may have married a Lucy Porter, daughter of William and Nancy Porter. Lucy Bailey, wife of J.R., is also buried at Antioch. On the 1850 Winston census, George & Mary Bailey were living two houses down from John and Jane Long, next door to Abner, Paulina, and George S. Hood. On the 1860 census, Mary Bailey and her children are living with the widowed Jane Long and her two grown sons Henry W. and John N. Long. Is this Mary Bailey kin to the Longs?

On the 1850 Winston Census, John and Jane Long are living next door to Abner, Paulina, and George S. Hood (all are in their late 20's). John and Jane Long have a child Elizabeth (age 16) in their household. Winston marriage records show that George S. Hood married Elizabeth Long in 1856. I found a G.S. and S.E. Hood on the 1860 Winston census with son A.R. (born 1858).

According to an 1852 probate record in Winston County for John Long, John and Jane Long apparently had another daughter named Letty in addition to daughter Elizabeth, son Henry and son John. I don't know anything else about Letty. Does the Winston County marriage book (first one) have a marriage for a Letty Long to anyone?

The reason I am seeking information on these families is because John N. Long, son of John and Jane Long, married my Lucinda Whitten in 1867. She died first sometime after 1885, and he died in 1896, leaving two orphaned daughters (names unknown but would have been born after 1867). If Letty Long, Elizabeth Long Hood, and Mary Bailey were his sisters, would they perhaps have taken in one of his daughters to rear as their own?
