I am descended from John G Tribble,his son James Silas Tribble, his son Francis Maynard Tribble, his daughter Launa Tribble. We are from Yalobusha and Grenada Counties.
Our old home place in Yalobusha county is where some of them are buried. There are relative still living in that location and I am sure they can give you much more info than I can. I have just begun searching the Tribble line so only have a small amount of info. Do plan to go back to Grenada and seach some more in the next few weeks. Please keep in touch. The Tribble and Martin descendents have a family reunion every July 4th in Scobey, MS. I assume they will have it again this year. I think that John Tribble (mother called him Uncle John although she said he was actually her first cousin (he was a lot older than she was)has lots of descendents in the Scobey-Grenada area.
