I have not been in contact with you since last October when I received an e-mail regarding the bible in possession of John Moorman who is from Grenada, MS. After our correspondence I received information from Doug Tucker who felt he had pieced together our James Andrew Moorman's connection to the rest of the MOORMAN family. (I am descended from Martha Elizabeth Moorman, born 28 Aug 1831, a sister to your B.F. Moorman, all of Yalobusha County.)

Did you also receive this information stating that James Andrew's father was Benjamin Moorman, born 16 Nov 1789 and Martha Powell? I thought of the possibility that my Martha, who was firstborn, was named for her grandmother. Benjamin Moorman was possibly the child of Andrew Moorman and Jane Bounds.

I am just wondering if you have any more information regarding this connection and if you feel this is plausible.
