"Obituary. The funeral of Dennis Hickey, one of the oldest residents of this city, who died at his residence, 103 South Fifth Street, Saturday, of old age, took place this afternoon to Mt. Carmel Cemetary [sic]. The deceased was known and esteemed and leaves a widow and large family of children, most of whom are grown, to mourn their loss. "The funeral of the late Dennis Hickey was largely attended yesterday afternoon from St. Mary's Roman Catholic church on Converse avenue to Mount Carmel cemetery. The pall-bearers were Bartholomew Long, John Dowd, Dave Roche, Thomas Connoly, John Griffin and A. Burns.
