Good evening Mississippi. I do not know the county, and need the help of a professional to find the birthplace of three children born in Mississippi during the Civil War 1862 - 1866. Their parents were married in New Orleans Mar/Apr 1861. Shortly thereafter, the family left a New Orleans Orphanage for Mississippi. The 1870 Federal Census in New Jersey, identified their birthplace as being Mississippi. Later censuses had them born in MS, Louisiana, Baton Rouge, New Jersey, and Ohio.
