The info on her burial comes from Newspaper Gleanings of Andrew County and Surrounding Areas, Dorothy L. McMackin, ed., p. 283, Oct. 4, 1889:

"Mrs. Michael Chronister died at her home 1 1/2 miles N.E. of Nodaway, last Fri. Ill past years. Leaves husband and daughter. Buried Fillmore Cem."


The Andrew County Historical Society has the newspapers on microfilm. acresearch@stjoelive.com would be the contact to see if they can help. From my understanding they have very limited volunteer resources, but it's worth an ask.

Not sure about funeral homes of the era. They seem to be ever-changing. :)
