Thanks for this comment and the previous one. I really appreciate your help. I did check on Rootsweb. The query was already posted under Ketchum, but not on the Erie page. I added it there.
I have a copy of their wedding announcement somewhere in Dad's stuff. It may say where they married. He married Mary Grace Ketchum in the early 1900s. They both were in Vaudeville. Samuel Robert Taylor was an electrician with Vaudeville and Mary was a singer, whistler, piano player and dancer under the stage name of Daryl Ainsworth.
I don't know if he actually lived in Michigan or if he joined the Elks Club when the Vaudeville troupe he was working for was playing in Detroit.
He apparently lived at the Elks' Home in Virginia when he died.
