JANE MILLER McKAY, a widow from TN, came to Bates Co with 3
children in 1856. One of the children was CHRISTIANA McKAY DRENNAN who was married to a minister prior to coming to MO. They had two girls. Both Christiana and her husband died when the girls were very small. So, Jane McKay, their grandmother, raised these two little cherubs on her farm in Bates Co. One of the girls married an OSBOURN, I assume who was probably a local or from nearby. The sister never married. The Osbourns had children, one of whom was named PANSY RUTH OSBOURN b 11 May 1891 in MO. She married a BALL and her daughter was named Ruth Ann Ball. Pansy Ruth Osbourn Ball and her daughter were living in Payette, ID, in 1944 when Pansy's mother died in MO. I would like very much to be in touch with descendants of any of these people.
