My 4th Gt Grandfather was Henry RUBLE/RUBEL. He was born in Washington Co.,TN and later moved to Ottumwaw (?)Iowa, where his son was the first preacher to preach in Iowa. The family RUBEL moved to Tenn. from Frederick Co.Maryland, & from Pa. Henry Rubel's grandfather was Peter Rubel who came to the US from Germany. I have the exact dates he arrived and they lived in York Co.PA. His had a son named Peter Rubel and he served in Rev. War along with his brothers Mathias Ruble, & Christian Rubel. I need to get positive proof on HENRY RUBLE/RUBEL and his son DUKE RUBLE for membership into SAR. Can you all help????
