I was adopted from the Sheltering Arms Orphanage in 1936. My birthdate is probably March 12, 1933, although I understand that the orphanage could have changed my birthdate a few days either way so that my parents couldn't locate me. I think that my name might have been David Jean? I seem to remember some one calling me that. I remember the orphanage pretty well.
