I am the great-great-grandson of Robert J. Perkins who was born in 1866 in Missouri. He is the son of Leroy A. Perkins (1842-1912) and Elizabeth (1841-?)
In 1876 he was living in Township 26 of Butler County. The 1880 Census has him living in St. Francois, Missouri.
He married my great-great-grandmother, Miranda Timmons on June 24, 1888.
He is on the 1900 Census living in Poplar Bluff, Missouri with Miranda. On the 1910 Census, he's living in Burbank, California and the 1930 Census has him living in Glendale with Miranda.
After 1930, he disappears. I had come across some information a few years back that stated he had passed away in 1931. However, I wasn't able to verify this. When I tried to order a California death certificate, the agency wasn't able to locate him. His wife Miranda passed away in 1958 and Robert is not buried at the same cemetery as her.
Any ideas where and when he actually passed? I would be grateful for whatever information anyone could provide me.
Brad Perkins, Jr.
