I am looking for information on the death of William Taylor. I have some confirmation that he was born in 15 Nov 1808 in Smith County, TN and probably died somewhere in MO abt 1851 as he was in the 1850 census. His wife, Lucy Ann (Ham) Taylor went on to live in Adams County, IL and died in 1890, but it seems like their family lost their farm which split the children up to other family members after William died. William's father, John, was the son of Thomas T. Taylor, a revolutionary soldier. Most of Thomas's children settled in Callaway County Missouri according to the Pioneer Families of Missouri.
