I suspect that Louisa's maiden name was Tucker. There's an 1867 TN Supreme Court Case, J. D. West et al. v. Thomas J. Tucker et al., appealed from Montgomery Co. Defendants in the case were Thomas James Tucker, Alexander Rose, Louisa Rose, William Alexander, Mary Alexander, John W. M. McElsworth, Eliza McElsworth, Quentin Shepherd, Elizabeth Shepherd, James Kinney, Martha Kinney, William H. Tucker, Marion Tucker, Joseph Ennis, Sarah Ennis, Joseph Hughey, Sarah Hughey, John Dellron, Priscilla Dellron, Emmaline Story, G. Ezell, Jason Ezell, Isaac Joiner, William Ezell, George W. Ezell, Ansell Ezell, and others.
I am trying to establish a connection between my Tucker ancestor and this family. My Tucker ancestor left a widow Martha who by 1839 was named Martha Rose, and who married 14 Jul 1839 in Stewart Co. to Daniel McCoy, just a month before Louisa Tucker married Alexander Rose in the same county.
