Many of us who have “family” buried in Fairhaven Cemetery at Norborne, Carroll County, MO rely on Findagrave.com for tombstone photos. Unfortunately, only about one-half of the existing tombstones have been photographed and attached to the appropriate Findagrave record.
I understand that winter (especially this winter) is not the time to be doing this, but I’m just wondering if some Carroll County service group would be willing to undertake such a project once the weather will allow it?
Some of us live out of state; some are not able to travel due to physical constraints; and just having access to these family ties would be a great blessing.
You have no idea how much this would mean to those who are seriously interested in family history research, but are unable to travel back to Carroll County for these photos.
Several smaller cemeteries near Norborne also fit into this scenario – Providence, Stempel and Watson.
Thank you very much for your consideration.
