Zarilda Kay Calvert, 81, died July 28, 1994, in the Raymore Health Care Center in Cass County, where she lived.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Newcomer's Longview Chapel; graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ashland Cemetery, St. Joseph. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the chapel.

The family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.

Mrs. Calvert was born in Albany, Mo., and lived in St. Joseph before moving to this area in 1942. She was a registered nurse for St. Luke's Hospital for 15 years before she retired. She was a member of Raymore Christian Church. Her husband, William S. Calvert, died in 1987.

Survivors include two sons, Robert R. Calvert, Kansas City, and Daniel William Calvert, Belton; a daughter, Elizabeth K. Calvert, Las Vegas; a brother, Reese Canaday, Tacoma, Wash.; and six grandchildren.
