Surnames: Powell and Rodgers
I am seeking information on my Great-great grandparents who lived in Northern Chariton county (Bynumville) according to the 1880 county census. Their names were William Marshall and Annie E. (Rodgers) Powell. William Marshall went by Marshall and worked in the Sawmill, family lore has it that he was an excellent carpanter. He served in the civil war in the 11th Mo Cav, and again family lore has it that he died from complications from some injury that he received in the war. According to the 1890 Vetren's census his wife Annie was receiving his pension, and was listed as a widow...Annie would die in 1941. However, before Wm. Marshall's death he and Annie would have the following children: Wren (1867); Emily (1871); Ann Eliza (1873);
William N. (1874); John Wesley "Pete" (1877); Joseph Marshall (1881); Elmer Logan (1884); Mary A (1886).

Does Anyone remember this Bynumville Powell family?
