Surnames: Barker, Barterman, Dreur, Gross, Herig, Hohscheid, Liemer, Piet, Regers, Siemer, Wolf, Zobel
In June 1861, a Home Guards unit (Union) was mustered in for 90-days at Cole Camp, in Benton County. Most were German immigrants or descendants, and the unit was aka "German Regiment, Missouri Volunteers". Those below haven't been identified, but there were trade and family ties with Boonville in Cooper County, and one officer believed to be from there, so if any of the following are familiar and known to have served, please get in touch. (Names may be misspelled)

Charles Barker
Mathias Barterman
Diedrich Dreur
Phillip Gross
August Herig
Adolph Hohscheid
Harph Liemer
Harise Piet
Bernhard Regers
John Siemer
Ferdinand Wolf
