I would like to change my previous message to read: Found the marriage record of Florena Gillispie LOWERY m. 26 May 1886, McNairy Co., Tn. to Robert D. Mitchell. They migrated to Dade Co., Mo. about 1886-1890. Had one child in DADE Co, Robert Arnold Mitchell b. June 4, 1890-92. After stay in Dade Co., pushed on to Oklahoma. Settled in Grant Co., OK. about 1892, Homesteaded in Garfield, Co., OK. September 16, 1893, on The Chreokee Strip Land Run. Had second child April 5, 1895 in OK. Gave up the homestead about 1895. Dropped The two children in Oklahoma City Orphanage about 1896 and disappeared. Florena LOWERY's brother, Theodore LOWERY,of DADE CO., MO., might have been her brother-in-law from a previous marriage.
