I'm looking for the DeKalb Co. relatives of Bertha Hannson Anderson, b. 1857 in Hansingland, Sweden. She immigrated in 1882 with three small children: Celia, Margaret, and Hans. She married Oliver Olson there in 1883. He was b. 1852, Weland Gunnarskog, Sweden and had been living in DeKalb Co. as early as 1876. Both Bertha Hannson and Oliver Olson had relatives around Maysville. That's why they came there. Bertha is said to have had a sister there. There was a second man named Oliver Olson living in DeKalb at this time and said to be the first Oliver's cousin. Later, after they moved to OK, Bertie and Oliver Olson deeded land to "Carrie Olson of Chicago." Probably she was family they'd known in DeKalb Co. I know a lot about the Olsons in DeKalb in this period, so I'd be happy to send a file that tells their story to anyone who requests it.
