Surnames: DeGeest
Peter and Aaltje DeGeest were married in Iowa in 1848. They had 8 sons : Cornelius, John, Jasper, Henry, Elijah, Peter, Alex and Ira. Is this your Jasper??? My Great Aunt left me photos....one of all the sons, and one of Peter and Aaltje. Do you have information on this family?
