George W. WILLHOIT m. Clara BRUER (31 Jan 1888-10 Aug 1946) on 13 Feb 1906 Catoosa, OK; dau of William Paley Cutral BRUER (b. 19 Oct 1857 in Nashville, TN, d. 29 Jan 1913) and Gerusha "Ruthie" Grant ALLISON (b. 22 Oct 1863 in Marion, KY; d. 18 Feb 1908). George WILLHOIT was a farmer and General Baptist minister and he preached in numerous counties in Missouri and Arkansas. Their eight children were:
(1) Beulah Rae WILLHOIT b. 18 Feb 1910, d. 8 Sep 1984. On 17 Oct 1929 at Rogersville, Beulah m. Carl HERNDON. Two daughters: Bernadine HERNDON and Juanita HERNDON.
(2)Opal Marie WILLHOIT 15 Nov 1912. On 27 Jul 1935, Opal m. Joe YOUNG. A son, Donald YOUNG.
(3) Willard Ralph WILLHOIT b. 6 Aug 1915; on ? in St. Joseph, MO, Willard m. Dorothy NOLAND. A daughter, Gail WILLHOIT. Willard was killed in service on 28 Nov 1944 at Kirviller, France and is buried in Lorraine Cemetery in France.
(4) Conley Berry WILLHOIT b. 10 Mar 1917, d. 17 May 1980 at Santa Clara, CA. On 4 Oct 1937 at Leadville, Lake County, CO, Conley m. Jeanetta STOVER. Children: Norma WILLHOIT and Tommy WILLHOIT.
(5) Howard Thomas WILLHOIT b. 6 Nov 1918, d. 12 Apr 1950. On 24 Dec 1943 at Ava, MO, Howard m. Ella Mae SALLEE, dau of James Barton SALLEE and Mary Ellen HOBBS. Two children: George Lyndall WILLHOIT b. 28 Nov 1944, he m. (1) Virginia NEWCOMB in 1966; George m. (2) Joyce (Routh) OLSON in 1983. Ellen Lucille WILLHOIT b. 13 Feb 1949; d. 31 Mar 1949 and is buried at Lutie Cemetery, Theodosia, MO.
