The family of Martin Luther Mayberry and Jemina (Oma) Pleasant Mayberry are having a reunion in Cartersville Georgia on June 15-16, 2002, at the home of Larry Craine.
The family is looking for any info on the father of Martin Mayberry, Millard Mayberry who died in Holcomb, November 10, 1935, and is buried at Pine Creek Cemetary in Holcomb.
We do not know the maiden name of Millards wife--- Iris Armenta Mayberry, died July 25, 1935 and also buried at Pine Creek. It is possible that Millard Mayberry owned some land in the Holcomb area. We need information on where Millard came from, who his parents were, where he and Iris were married, and when, and of course all of their children. We believe Martin had at least one brother John, who may have died in Kennett in 1970. He may have had other siblings we do not know about or have lost touch with.

Martin Luther Mayberry did serve in World War 1, and lived most of his life in the Holcomb-Campbell area. He married Jemina (Oma) Pleasant, and they had 3 daughters, Mildred, who married Jake Craine, Marie who married Hal Davis, and Merle Elaine who married James Staples of Piggott AR. Martin was a farmer in Holcomb until his death in 1969. His wife Oma died in 1976.

Listed birthdate for Martin Luther Mayberry is December 20, 1894--no list of where he was born but could have been in the Dunklin County area.
