Wanda , I do not know if you know this but you can go to the site called Missouri death index, there you can look at death certiciates from 1910 to 1962 63 should be coming out soon.
According to the site Newton Shirley married Ollie Bailey her death certificate is on line too
Newton Wesley Shirley's mother is listed as Etta Qualls. You might want to check the site out, I noticed his death certificate said he lived there five years , so could have lived on the edge of the county.
