Keith, regarding the post you made on the Waddell history in 2012. I had heard for YEARS that Andrew Jackson Waddell went to TX and died there. This looks as if it was just a family cover-up for an embarrassing situation. He died in 1926 at the State Mental Hospital in Farmington, MO. I have a copy of the death certificate. His DOB was 30 April 1871 and his DOD was 21 Dec 1926, at age 55. He was married 3 times: Mary A. Caudle (3 Sep 1893), next to Molly Little Wren (b 7 Apr 1875 d 20 Feb 1903) married 30 Aug 1896, and last to Frances Sutton. He was married to Frances at the time of his death in 1926. His dc states that he was being transported to "Frisby" (after Malden was crossed out), so I imagine he was brought to Sumach for interment--but cannot verify that. He does have children buried in the Sumach Cemetery--that I'm sure of. I will be at the Waddell reunion (hopefully) in August, and perhaps it will be possible for you to attend also. Regards.
