Brian R. Keeney of Bourbon, Missouri passed away on Friday, August 8, 2003 at the age of 32 years.
Brian was born on July 19, 1971 to Carol Higgins Keeney Biggins and the late Orville Randall Keeney. He was a life long resident of the Bourbon area and was a 1989 graduate of Bourbon High School. Brian was employed as an assembly
line worker at Chrysler since 1994. He enjoyed camping and other outdoor activities,which included hunting and fishing, going to the river and arrowhead hunting. He was
known as a person who was gentle and warm hearted who loved kids and animals. Brian also came to know the Lord and was baptized last year at Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Carol and Kevin Biggins of Bourbon, his sister Shauna Biggins of Bourbon, paternal grandparents, Orville and Maxine Keeney of
Bourbon, maternal grandmother, Dorothy Benthal and husband Bill of Bourbon,great-grandfather, Pat Enloe of Cuba, Missouri, a nephew, Tyler Lewis of Bourbon,aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Along with his father, Brian was preceded in death by a brother Jerod Keeney, his grandfather, Alvie Higgins, and step-grandparents,
Jim and Eileen Biggins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday from Calvary Baptist Church in Bourbon with interment in Hodge-Enloe Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. Visitation for Brian Keeney will be from 4-9 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the Eaton Funeral Chapel in Bourbon.
