Alvin J. Pich, 59, Pacific, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, in Pacific.

Mr. Pich, the son of John Pich and his late wife Betty, nee Kern, was born Nov. 2, 1953, in Washington.

He received his education from Autumn Hill State School. Mr. Pich was employed by Sheltered Workshop.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Pich; and brother, Jeffrey Pich.

Mr. Pich is survived by his father, John Pich, Catawissa; aunts and uncles, Clyde and Sandy Pich, David and Tammy Pich, Charles and Sarah Pich, Florence and Tom Wilder, Betty and Jerry Parmentier, Julie and Joe Draves, Gladys Lewis, Polly Fenner and Mildred Hoppe; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 17, at Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home, Pacific, with the Revs. Ron and Dee Dee Tempel officiating.

Interment was in Midlawn Memorial Gardens, Union.

Memorials to Pacific Care Center or Catawissa Union Church are preferred.

The family was served by Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home, Pacific.
