Destiny Olivia Pearson, 16, Lonedell, departed this life in Lonedell Monday, Nov. 12, 2012.
Destiny was born in Washington Oct. 11, 1996, the daughter of Walter Vincent Pearson and Tonya Kay Pearson, nee Abegg.
She is survived by her parents, Walter Pearson, Lonedell, and Tonya Hogue and husband James, St. Clair; grandparents, Alex Pearson and wife Cindy, Kiln, Mich., Linda Lipe and husband Lonnie, St. Clair, and Ed Abegg and wife Brenda, Robertsville; step-grandparents, Ken Hogue and wife Doris, Lonedell; sister, Lisa Pearson, St. Clair; half siblings, Isaiah and Twileigha Hogue, St. Clair; step-siblings, Justin and Kristopher Hogue, Lonedell; aunts; uncles; great- and great-great-aunts and -uncles; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
Destiny was a Christian and member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Luebbering, and past member of Bethel Baptist Church, Lonedell.
She was a freshman at St. Clair High School where she was a member of the drama club. During her attendance at Pacific Junior High School, Destiny was a cheerleader.
Destiny enjoyed many interests, including square dancing, sewing and karate. She was an avid reader and loved to write. Riding horses was another of her hobbies. What meant most to Destiny was time spent with friends and family. The many wonderful memories they created together will forever be cherished by them all.
Visitation was held from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair.
Funeral and committal services were private.
Memorials to the family, in care of Russell Colonial Funeral Home, or the Destiny O. Pearson Memorial Fund, in care of Christa M. Schneider, 133 Wildcat Court, Union, MO 63084 are preferred.
The family was served by Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair.
