Cassandra Elaine Brown, nee Coffman, known to most as "Sandy," 37, Union, departed this life in Union Monday, Nov. 26, 2012.
Sandy was born in St. Louis Feb. 17, 1975, the daughter of Harold "Roger" Coffman and wife Cassie Lee, nee Gough. As a young woman she was blessed to have three children.
Sandy is survived by her parents, Roger and Cassie Coffman, St. Clair; three children, Kayla Smith, Stanley "Chas" Smith and Jensen Smith, all of Union; grandmother, Betty Gough, Cadet; two brothers, Bill Coffman and wife Brenda, Lake Ozark, and Allen Coffman and wife Robin, Eldon; nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; great-aunts and -uncles; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
Sandy was a Christian, believing in the Lord as her Savior.
During her working career, she was a manager for various businesses throughout the area, including Bandana's, Casey's and, most recently, Voss, Union. Growing up, Sandy lived in St. Clair and graduated from St. Clair High School.
She loved to watch St. Louis Cardinals baseball games as well as the St. Louis Rams football games. Other passions of hers were shopping and watching her children play sports. Most of all, Sandy loved caring for her family and the many precious memories they shared will forever be cherished by them all.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair, with the Rev. Fern Nye officiating.
Interment was in Crestview Memorial Park, St. Clair.
Memorials to the St. Clair VFW Post 2482 Ladies Auxiliary are preferred.
The family was served by Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair.
