Esther Viola Wall of St Clair was born March 21, 1916 at St Louis, daughter of Lolo Williams Ogle Yeary and the late Edward Ogle. On august 17, 1933, she was united in marriage to Oscar William Wall and seven children came to bless this union. Esther departed this life on January 3, 1991 having reached the age of seventy-four years, nine months and nine days.
She is survived by four sons, Charles Wall and wife Nancy of St. Clair, Clifford Wall of Richwoods, Bill Wall and wife Sharon of Edwards, CA, and Clyde Wall and wife Becky of Union; three Daughters, Eunice Watson of Homestead, FL, Ruth Duncan and husband Neal of Lonedell, and Judy Donner and husband Brian of Union; her mother, Lolo Ogle Yeary of St Clair; 31 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law; one niece; cousins, and other relatives and many friends. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband Oscar William Wall in November 1951; six grandchildren, David Lee Brown, Buffy Jo Hammer, Christine duncan, Timothy Wall, Steven Wall and Randy Wall.
Esther enjoyed attending Prospect Baptist church in Lonedell and, in more recent years. Freewill baptist Church in St Clair. She was employed by Fraiser Shoe Company in Union, until her retirement.
Esther lived in the Lonedell and St Clair area most of her lifetime. She was always an active person and her favorite pastime was listening to country music and dancing.
A kind and loving mother, mother-in-law, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Funeral services were held January 6, 1991,at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St Clair, with Rev Jay Tilson officiating. Interment was in Prospect Cemetery, Lonedell.
