Lulu Josephine Girardier, 94, Webster Groves, died April 21, 1974 at Glenwood Nursing Home.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 23 at the Casey-Lenox Chapel with the Rev. Estes Perkins officiating.
Burial was in Midlawn Memorial Gardens, Union.
Lulu Josephine Girardier, daughter of the late Matthew and Martha Thurmond Richardson, was born at St. Clair on July 7, 1879.
She was converted to the Christian faith in early womanhood, uniting with Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where she remained a faithful Christian. She was united in marriage in December 1903 to Wilton A. "Bee" Girardier, and three children came to bless this union.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Louise, in August 1967 and her husband, Wilton, in November 1962.
Survivors include one daughter, Marie Girardier of St. Louis, one son, Virgil Girardier of St. Clair; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces; nephew; cousins; other relatives and many, many friends.
A kind and lovig mother and grandmother, she will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
