Eugene Whitlock, 62, Pacific, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, in Washington.
Eugene, the son of the late Orville Whitlock and wife Ruth, nee Kern, was born Oct. 18, 1950, in Washington.
On Aug. 8, 1973, he was united in marriage to Susan Cobb in Gray Summit.
Eugene was employed as a grounds-maintenance keeper for public schools.
He served his country honorably as a member of the U.S. Army.
Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Ruth Whitlock; and sister, Linda Stewart.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Whitlock, Pacific; three sons, Eric Whitlock and wife Brandy, Valley Park, Evan Whitlock and wife Melissa, Pacific, and Donald Ahner, Viburnum; two daughters, Elana Whitlock and life partner Victoria Horonzy and Erin Whitlock, all of Pacific; brother, Roger Whitlock and wife Belinda, St. Clair; sister, Pam Whitlock, Catawissa; nine grandchildren, Brandon, Kayla, Bradley, Athena, Alexis, Blake, Owen, Brooklyn and Elijah; one great-grandchild, K.J.; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Ruth Dunnaway and husband Joe, Great Bend, Kan., and Cathi Millfelt and husband Jim, Pacific; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial services were held Saturday, Jan. 12, at Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home, Pacific.
Memorials to Cure PSP are preferred.
The family was served by Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home, Pacific.
