Helen Marie Supinski was born January 7, 1926 at DeSoto, MO, daughter of the late Jesse Hoyt and Gladys Hiatt Hoyt. On October 26, 1946, she was united in marriage to Walter Paul Supinski and three children came to bless this union. Marie departed this life on July 25, 1991 at Washington, MO, having reached the age of sixty-five years, six months and eighteen days.
She is survived by her son Ron Supinski and wife Norma, two daughters, Linda Thurmond and husband Robert, and Debra Thacker and husband Steve, all of St Clair; one brother,Jesse Hoyt of DeSoto; three sisters, Alta Valle and husband Norville of Richwoods, Erlene Leonard and husband Glen of DeSoto, and Dora Vance and husband Kurt of Pilot Knob; six grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; cousins and other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Walter Supinski and a brother Marvin Sheets.
Marie was a member of The St Clare Catholic church of St Clair, MO, and also belonged to the Legion of Mary. Among her enjoyments in addition to her love for her family, were sewing, embroidering and being an immaculate housekeeper.
A kind and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and very dear friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Funeral Mass was held on July 27, 1991, from the St Clare Church, with Father Albert Mattler officiating. Interment was in the Parish Cemetery, St Clair. Arrangements were by Russell Colonial funeral Home in St Clair.
