Dora Crider was born at Owensville April 1, 1927, the daughter of Joseph Lawrence and his wife, Welma, nee Hoelmer. She died Friday, June 6, 1985. She was 59 years old.
She received her schooling at Labadie, and grew to young womanhood there.
October 22, 1949, she was united in marraige to Delbert Crider at Union, Mo. They made their home in Union and one son was born to this marriage.
Mrs. Crider had been employed in shoe work at Carmo Shoe Co., in Union for a number of years. She was a member of the Ladies of the Moose of Union and attended Zion United Church of Christ.
Those who survive are: her husband, Delbert Crider; one son, Mike Crider and his wife, Bette of Union; two sisters, Mabel Brune of Washington and Della Palmer of Union; one brother, Charles Lawrence of Union; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 9, 1986, from the Oltmann Funeral Home in Union, by Rev. John Stevesand. Interment followed in the Midlawn Memorial Gardens at Union.
