Winifred A. Ringeisen of Cuba, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 1987, at the Phelps County Meidcal Center, Rolla, Missouri, having reached the age of 84 years, four months and 17 days. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 30, 1902, daughter of the late William Michael Joseph Meany and Winifred Amelia Ryan Meany.
She was united in marriage to William B. Ringeisen, and he preceded her in death on February 20, 1982.
She is survived by two sisters, Norine Cochran of Florissant, Mo. and Catherine Meany of St. Louis; a sister-in-law, Ola Helm of Bourbon; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Meany, and two sisters, Mary Bridget Meany and a baby sister in infancy.
After Mr. Ringeisen's retirement, the Ringeisens lived in St. Clair. When he passed away, she made her home near her nephew, at Cuba. While living in that area, she had attended the Trinity Presbyterian Chapel.
A kind and loving sister, aunt, and a treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, January 19, 1987, at the Trinity Chapel in Cuba, Missouri, Reverend John Sheldon officiating. Interment was in the Midlawn Memorial Gardens, Union. Arrangements were by Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair.
